Congress 2026
We come together for the 2nd Jewish Anti Zionist Congress (JAZIC 2) which will take place on the 26-28. June 2026 in Dublin, Ireland.
The congress will include multiple panels and workshops, led by speakers from various academic, activist, media and civil society backgrounds. In the context of the genocide in Palestine, we intend to explore a range of critical themes and examine how political clarity can drive global action–highlighting the shift from mere solidarity to global action for liberation.
We will review the historical and contemporary roles of Jewish anti-Zionism in the broader liberation struggle, while developing the intersection of decolonization, restorative justice, equality and the fight against imperial and neocolonial narratives. We will explore the complex relationship between Zionism, Western declining power, and global politics, considering how these themes shape our vision for a just future.
The congress offers a platform to engage with pressing issues, develop strategies and links, envision transformative change, as well as plan necessary actions.
Here are some impressions from the previous congress in Vienna 2025:
Who is the congress meant for?
Political, social, juridical and environmental organizations, activists, academics, students, media professionals and other individuals - from all faiths and none - who are interested in the theory and practice of addressing the major issues of our times–the Palestinian struggle for justice and liberation–via an anti-Zionist perspective.

When and where?

Maldron Hotel Tallaght
Whitestown Way, Tallaght, Dublin 24, D24 XC9W, Ireland

Information for non-EU/non-Schengen citizens travelling to Ireland
Participants who are not citizens of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or a Schengen member state may require a visa to travel to Ireland to attend the congress.
Ireland is not part of the Schengen Area, and a Schengen visa alone does not automatically grant permission to enter Ireland. Visa requirements depend on your nationality and travel document. Many non-EU and non-Schengen citizens must apply for a Short Stay “C” Conference/Event Visa before travelling.
Who needs a visa
You will need to apply for a visa if you:
- Are not a citizen of the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or a Schengen country
- Hold a passport from a country that requires a visa to enter Ireland
- Hold a refugee travel document issued by a non-Irish authority
Check your visa requirements: https://www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-visit-ireland/check-if-you-need-a-visa/
How to apply
Visa applications must be submitted online through the Irish Immigration Service:
https://www.irishimmigration.ie
You should apply at least 8–12 weeks before your intended travel date, as processing times can vary.
Required documents include
- A valid passport or travel document
- An official invitation letter from the congress organizers (please contact us at visa@jazic.org)
- Proof of accommodation
- Travel itinerary
Important note
A visa, if granted, allows you to travel to Ireland, but entry is ultimately decided by Irish immigration authorities at the border.
We strongly encourage participants who may require a visa to begin the application process as early as possible.
