Ilan Pappé

Ilan Pappé is an Israeli historian and professor at the University of Exeter and was previously a lecturer in political science at the University of Haifa. He is best known for his book The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, in which he documents the systematic expulsion of Palestinians in 1948 based on extensive archival research.
His work has made him one of the most prominent critical Israeli voices on Zionism, the Nakba, and the ongoing structures of settler colonialism in Palestine.
