José Nivoi is an organiser and activist based in Italy. He is co-leader of the Global Sumud Flotilla and active in grassroots movements for Palestinian solidarity. He has played a key role in mobilising networks in Italy, connecting local activism with international efforts to challenge the Gaza blockade. Nivoi participated in the Fleet for Cuba against the economic blockade, and helped organize the first international port strike where 21 ports were blocked with the slogan "we do not work for war”.
