Camille Lévy Sarfati portrait

Camille Lévy Sarfati is a curator, author, educator and organizer based in Tunis. Her work addresses the notions of erasure, coloniality, rituals and modes of knowledge and narrative production in art and politics, through a counter-cartographic and counter-ethnographic lens. Formerly director of 32bis in Tunis, she has worked with Kadist, Villa Medici, the Palais des Papes, Selebe Yoon, Le 18 Marrakech and The Minority Globe. She is the co-founder of the Tunisian collective Nessij, which collaborates with a wide variety of arts spaces across the African continent.
